Biking Back Home
Madison, WI → New Haven, CT · ~1,500 miles
Follow Along on StravaHi, my name is Dan! When I was 11, I went on a 185-mile bike ride from Cumberland, MD to Washington, D.C. with my Boy Scout Troop 9, and learned how wonderful it is to experience the world via bike. Now, after 8 years working at Clique Studios, I've earned a 4-week sabbatical, and I plan to spend it reflecting on what brought me here…by visiting my people and places on the back of a bike.
So: I'm biking to every place I've ever called home, and inviting anyone who wants to be a part of this. I'd love to share this journey with as many people as possible — anything from riding with me to a crisp high-five as I pass through — while we do some good and raise money for a charity related to each of my hometowns.
30 days. 1,500 miles. Every city I've ever called home.
I'm taking a full rest day in a few cities and will hang out at one spot for several hours. An easy way to see me as I pass by!
I'm raising money for causes that impacted me in each of my hometowns, along with taking any contributions to support the tour itself. If you would like to help out or donate, please reach out, and let me know if any donated money should go towards a specific cause!
